I used to dread January. Such a dull, uneventful month after the sparkling chaos of December. However, now entering my 4th year of business, the slower pace of January is a welcome respite after a frenetic fall. A time to catch up on personal projects, professional development and catching up on one of my favorite things to do: blogging! This past fall season was my best one yet- filled with some pretty incredible clients, turned friends. While documenting memories for my clients is my passion, the interaction and, often, friendships borne from our time working together is the icing on my job. I, quite simply, adore what I do. Always and forever grateful that YOU, the customer, entrust me to do a job so precious.

I'm so happy to share with you, now, this adorable family that I worked with early in the fall. We moved our session date last minute to take advantage of particularly spectacular October evening- SCORE! The littlest darling was right at that perfect baby age of not quite being able to run away from me and her big brother loved her to pieces, all while flashing those soulful, expressive eyes at me from time to time. Such incredible sweethearts. And their parents- such fun-loving, kind souls! I loved that they let me have a little fun with them, too! Nothing but love in these photos- I hope you can see it shine.
